We need to start this story by giving the biggest thank you to our dear friend Brandon Streets. Without him, Mason and I would have never met.

We first came to know of each other via Brandon. I had just started nursing school at the University of North Georgia and had sworn off dating. I needed to focus on school. Mason was living on campus as a cadet there. Mason and Brandon were hanging out together one night and I started talking to Brandon on Snapchat. Mason being the nosy man he can sometimes be, was looking to see who Brandon was chatting with. He got a glimpse of me, which by the way I didn’t think was a very attractive photo of me. He looked at Brandon and started asking questions. Right away Brandon shoots me a question… “Are you dating anyone?” I obviously responded with no. He then sends me the cutest photo of mason in his uniform and asked if I thought he was handsome. I definitely said yes. Next thing I know is Brandon gave Mason my number with my permission and it really catapulted us into what would end up being the best decision of our lives.

Now I will say it took a few days for Mason to work up the courage to text me. I actually started to get worried he wasn’t interested. And then Brandon kept on him to message me and then it happened.

We clicked in such a way that I can only describe it as God’s plan to put us together.
