Hayden and Alexis' story began in a way neither of them could have ever imagined. It all started in May of 2019 when Hayden followed Alexis on Instagram. Over the next few weeks, they exchanged a few likes here and there, but it wasn’t until Alexis decided to take a girls' trip to Nashville that their paths truly crossed.

Alexis had plans to visit Nashville with her friends, Shanna and another high school friend, and when she made the trip official, Hayden couldn’t believe it. He was convinced it was just a passing idea. But sure enough, on June 2, 2019, Alexis and her friends made the 10-hour drive from Texas to Nashville. What Alexis didn’t know was that Hayden was in Knoxville, TN, spending the day fishing with his friends, Ross and Nate. When he found out she was already in Nashville, they couldn’t help but think she was a little crazy—who would drive all the way from Texas just to visit Nashville? But Alexis, being the spontaneous spirit she is, didn't let anything hold her back.

Hayden eventually made his way to Nashville, where he met Alexis and her friends on Broadway. From the very first moment they met, something just clicked—like they had known each other for much longer. It was an instant connection, and everything felt so natural. They spent the next four days together, with their friends hanging out side-by-side, and even stayed a few extra days to keep the good times going.

When it was finally time for Alexis to leave Nashville, she found it hard to say goodbye. As she drove back home, she called her sister, Hannah, and told her that she felt like she would marry Hayden one day—despite having known him for just a few days.

The rest, as they say, is history. In July of 2019, Hayden made a special trip to Texas to surprise Alexis, and on July 2, they officially became a couple. Just two days later, on July 4, Hayden told Alexis he loved her—something that felt so right, even though they had known each other for only a short time.

For the next eight months, they built a beautiful relationship from miles apart. Eventually, Alexis moved to Nashville to start a new chapter with Hayden. Alexis worked in the dental field, but when COVID-19 hit, she joined Hayden in working together, which brought them even closer. Through every change and challenge, they’ve always been a team, inseparable and committed to one another.

On May 4, 2024, just a day before Alexis' 26th birthday, Hayden asked her to marry him in a beautiful, unforgettable surprise, surrounded by their closest family and friends. As of September 20, 2025, they will have been together for nearly six wonderful years, cherishing every moment of their journey.

Their love story is a testament to the beauty of spontaneity, the power of connection, and the incredible adventures that life has in store when you find the right person. Every day with each other has been a dream, and they can’t wait to begin the next chapter as husband and wife.
