We met in 2019 with a classic modern age love story, Tinder. We both came from very different backgrounds each with our own history.. Joshua originally from Utah then moved out to Colorado after high school graduation. Alexis originally from California then, in true Army brat fashion, off to upstate New York and finally moving to Colorado. We started off as friends but once we realized how much we had in common and how easily we connected we knew we were meant to be together. We lived an hour away from each other for the first year and a half so we would split making the journey back and forth to see each other. Eventually added a dog into the mix giving us another best friend. And so the journey continued…


In June of 2021 for our second anniversary, following the Covid craziness, we set out on our very first vacation together…Las Vegas! The moment our plane landed in Nevada and we got checked into The Westgate hotel we were hooked, not only to each other but to that amazing city. From that point on Las Vegas held a special place in our hearts and our wallets. In that same year we did the 17 hour each way road trip to California and had our first Disneyland vacation together! After spending 8 consecutive days together we decided that’s how we wanted the rest of our lives to be, and we moved in with each other the day we got back to Colorado.


We’ve been through holidays and birthdays together but vacations have always been a huge part of our relationship. We haven’t found a place we love going to more than Las Vegas. So 5 years later, May 10th 2024, in the Bellagio conservatory after much anticipation we got engaged! Which is why we’re so excited to have our wedding there. This will be our 7th time visiting Vegas together and it just has a special place in our hearts. Here’s to many more adventures together❤️
