It all started back in December of 2017 with an Instagram message after the Santa Bar Crawl in Boston from Josh to Lexi, “You da 💣 ”. Fast forward through a few parties at Lexi’s apartment with mutual college friends from Wentworth Institute of Technology (where they both attended), Josh and Lexi started to hang out. Josh had watched Game of Thrones and got Lexi into it and wanted to hangout with her so he rewatched the whole show with her. Josh took Lexi out to dinner for the first time to Earls Kitchen + Bar for her birthday so her roommates could plan a surprise birthday party for her. After a few months of hanging out and supporting each other during soccer games (Lexi) and volleyball matches (Josh), they decided to be more than friends. Josh was very persistent with asking Lexi out 3 times before she said yes to being his girlfriend on May 25, 2018 on a visit to Lexi’s hometown, Long Island. Later that year over college winter break, Josh decided to join Lexi on a trip to Thailand to visit her cousin. It was very early for a trip across the world together, but it went AMAZING!
Fast forward to 2023, Josh decided to ask Lexi to marry him. He planned a whole day with family and friends from Boston and out-of-state to come to celebrate with them. He got down on one knee along the Boston Harbor with the Boston skyline and sunset behind them in Seaport, which was a special spot to them. During the summers in Boston, they would ride Blue Bikes over there all the time and just hang out and explore with each other (and Scott sometimes lol). Anyway, back to the engagement. Josh, Lexi’s siblings, and Josh’s brother, Zach, were all walking along the water in Seaport when Josh took Lexi aside to ask her to marry him. He had this whole speech planned out but was so nervous and shaky, he couldn’t get most of it out. It was the cutest thing ever. After, all their closest friends and the rest of their families came out of where they were hiding to take pictures and congratulate the couple. After, Josh had planned an all-you-can eat and drink at Rosa Mexicano in Seaport with both of their families. Lexi thought that was the end of the night until Josh was rushing her to get to their friends’ (Paige and Aidan) house. Josh and Paige had planned for all the rest of their friends to show up at her house to celebrate the couple! It was the most special and thoughtful day that Lexi could’ve ever imagined!
Since the proposal, Josh and Lexi decided to move out of Boston and buy a house in Littleton, CO! Now they are onto their next chapter in life together…
