Alexis and Erik met on New Year's eve, December 31, 2016. They met at a New Year's eve party that they had been invited to by mutual friends. Those friends introduced them to each other and they hit it off immediately. Alexis made the first moves and Erik was a bit clueless until she asked him to be her midnight kiss!

One of their first dates was at the Houston Rodeo to see Zac Brown Band and it was there that they decided to make things exclusive. For the last 7 years they have had so many adventures together. Ranging from concerts, sporting events, traveling, purchasing a home, and surviving quarantine together during COVID!

Finally on September 10, 2023, Erik decided to begin their biggest adventure and asked Alexis to marry him. The couple look forward to celebrating their wedding surrounded by friends and family in beautiful Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and can not wait to begin this next chapter in their lives!
