Q + A

What is the dress code?

The dress code for both the ceremony and reception is formal. Some suggested colors are blue, green, red, and black! The bridal party and immediate family members will be wearing light pink and the mother and father of the bride will be wearing light blue. As of right now, during the day we should expect temperatures in the 70s with some partial cloud coverage, It might get a bit chilly as the sun sets (around 5pm) but it could also be nice and warm inside where we are having our reception!

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Depending on the weather, the plan is to have the ceremony and the cocktail hour outdoors. The reception will be a combination of both as dining will take place outside on the courtyard!

Should I expect traffic? Is there onsite parking?

Our ceremony begins at 4:00 PM. There will most likely be traffic depending on how far you are staying from Winter Park area. Keep in mind it is a Monday, around the time people may be returning home from work. If you are staying close to Disney property then there will definitely be Disney related traffic so please plan accordingly! There is onsite parking as well.

Can I bring my children?

Unfortunately this is an age 21+ event. The only children that will be present are part of our immediate family and involved in the bridal party, unless otherwise specified. Thank you so much for understanding!

I have a question and it is the week before the wedding. Who should I contact to ask my question?

If it is the week, or even two weeks before the date of the wedding, please do not contact the Bride, Groom, or Mother of the Bride to ask any questions. Our points of contact will be the Maid of Honor, Bethi and Matron of Honor, Amanda. Maid of Honor, Bethi - (269) 535-2186 Matron of Honor, Amanda - (269) 370-3651

What do I need to do if I am traveling internationally?

First things first, every traveler will need a valid passport. Once you have that, go online and apply for a tourist visa to be able to come to the United States. This particular visa is called a B2 visa. After you have done that, you'll need to make an appointment for an interview at the US embassy/consulate. You will need to bring important documentation to your interview in order to be approved for a visa. For more information: https://common.usembassy.gov/en/b1-visa/
