Our story is far from the "norm". Neither of us were single when we met, but we had an undeniable connection within our friendship. Frankly, I was quite freaked out by Patrick for the first week after we met. He was everything I ever wanted and I was terrified to let myself have it. I fell in love with him insanely fast, and not only was he not bothered by me jumping the "I love you" so quick, he gave it back and meant it.

We adventured a lot the first year of us dating, then we had Oliver, Sullivan, adopted Andrew, and our family just keeps growing by the dozen! Patrick took us all to the Holiday Reflections Lights Display at union station this year and gave me the surprise of my life when he got down on one knee and professed his undying love for me. I couldn't say yes fast enough. We are so ready to seal the deal and call each other husband and wife.
