Dustin and Lexie met in 2012 through friends in marching band — Lexie was a Freshman and Dustin was a Sophomore at Dutch Fork High School. They had mutual friends and became friends themselves <3

Dustin & Lexie broke up Dustin's senior year and then went their separate ways after high school for college.
Lexie went to Charleston, SC and Dustin went to Nashville, TN.

Dustin and Lexie reconnected via social media and started talking again. Dustin had moved back to Irmo, SC and Lexie was living in Charleston, SC and about to move to Powdersville, SC in September 2019. They hung out every time Lexie was in Columbia and Dustin made trips to Charleston and Powdersville often!
