Alexis and Dylan met towards the end of their sophomore year of college. Alexis walked into a party where she laid her eyes on Dylan singing Taylor Swift at the top of his lungs. Soon after, with a lot of confidence and some coaching in the kitchen from the maid of honor and the best man, Dylan asked Alexis out. Little did the two of them know they were about to start the rest of their lives together!

Shortly after, Dylan and Alexis went on their first date to Sonic. They sat there talking for hours getting to know each other, before they knew it, the lights turned off and the workers left, but their connection and love continued to grow. As they continued their relationship they made memories they cherish to this day, from trips to Chicago, Dallas and Bonita Springs, Florida, to evenings spent at the dirt track.

After their junior year of college Dylan graduated early and moved back to Omaha. Thanks to facetime and lots of gas, they were able to continue their relationship despite the distance. One year later, after Alexis graduated, she made the big move to Omaha where her and Dylan got their first apartment together. Shortly after living together they got their first fur baby, Enzo.

And on July 16th, 2023, Dylan and Alexis went on a date to Joslyn Castle, where Dylan got down on one knee and asked the question that would mark the start of the rest of their lives together!
