What time should I arrive to the ceremony?
We kindly request all guests to arrive at least 15-30 minutes before the scheduled ceremony time. Due to the nature of the event and venue restrictions, late arrivals will not be allowed into the building until after the ceremony. Your punctuality is greatly appreciated, and we look forward to celebrating this special day with you!
NOTICE
We highly recommend getting to the venue earlier than you are planning to. The 31st Annual Trail of Tears Commemorative Motorcycle Ride will be coming through Huntsville and Athens, Alabama. This may affect travel time throughout the day.
Can I bring my children?
We adore your children! However, considering the guest count, the wedding will primarily cater to adults. If bringing children is necessary, due to travel constraints, please contact the bride or groom for approval in advance.
Now is the perfect time to grab a glass of wine, eat yummy food, and let loose on the dance floor! Your understanding is greatly appreciated.
Am I allowed to bring a plus one?
Unfortunately, we won't be able to accommodate plus ones at the wedding as we want to keep the event intimate and share this special day with close friends and family. We hope you understand and still join us to celebrate!
What should I wear?
We ask that guest wear semi-formal attire. Women have the choice of below-the-knee dresses, slip dresses, dressy skirts paired with a top, or an elegant pantsuit complemented by heels, nice wedges, or formal flats. Men can opt for a dress shirt with slacks or jeans, along with dress shoes or nice boots, and they also have the option to wear a tie.
Are there any colors and styles you'd prefer me to wear?
Guests are encouraged to embrace the beauty of the season by wearing a delightful array of fall colors, including burgundy, butternut, chestnut, navy, sage green, russet reds, pumpkin orange, mossy green, and soft browns. Your thoughtful consideration is highly appreciated, and we eagerly anticipate your presence as you celebrate with us in these warm and elegant hues.
What should I NOT wear to the wedding?
When attending our wedding, we kindly request that guests avoid wearing white, ivory, or cream, as these colors are reserved for the bride. We appreciate classic and tasteful attire, so we kindly ask guests not to wear casual clothing like sweats, sneakers, or gym clothes. Additionally, we request that outfits be neither overly revealing nor extravagant, and we hope guests will consider the dress code when choosing their attire for our special day.
Can I take picture during the wedding ceremony?
We would appreciate it if our guests could refrain from taking photos during our ceremony, as we aim to create an intimate and uninterrupted moment for everyone present. This will allow us to fully immerse ourselves in the experience and cherish heartfelt connections with loved ones without distractions. Rest assured, a professional photographer will be capturing all the special moments, enabling our guests to relax and be fully present, knowing that beautiful memories will be preserved.
Can I take pictures during the reception?
You are welcome to take pictures during the reception. However, we kindly request that you refrain from posting any photos on social media or sharing them with others until we have had a chance to post about the wedding. We would also appreciate it if you could send us any pictures you have taken, as we would love to see and cherish the moments captured by our guests. Thank you for understanding and respecting our wishes.
Will there be alcohol?
Yes! The wedding will offer an open bar with wine and beer only. We kindly request all guests to drink responsibly, and in the event of any issues, we may have to ask you to leave, regardless of your relationship with us. Please be aware that the last call for alcohol will be at 8:30 pm. Our goal is to ensure a safe and enjoyable celebration for everyone.
