Our Wedding

Our story starts long before we were even born! Our moms, Elaine and Shelly, have been good friends since high school, which meant our paths were destined to cross. It’s like an invisible string has connected us from the very beginning. In fact, our first official appearance together was as flower girl and ring bearer at Zach's parents wedding in 2003 when we were just 3 and 4 years old.In 2022, that invisible string pulled us closer. Lexi was out with her mom, Shelly, and his mom, Elaine, when Elaine casually suggested Lexi go on a date with Zach. Our first hang was at the Wagon Wheel in Mineral, and the next day, Lexi went to watch Zach play in a dodgeball tournament (not exactly how you expect to spend a date with your future husband). A week later was our first official date in LeClaire along the river. A few months after our first date, Zach made it official by asking Lexi to be his girlfriend with a sweet custom puzzle on 9/9/2022.In April 2023 we moved into and renovated a home together in Walnut. In September 2023 we brought home our dog Blu, the perfect addition to our family and new home! In February 22, 2025 Zach proposed to Lexi at Grant Park in Galena! It was a 9:30AM proposal because Zach claims he was too nervous to do anything else in Galena first! We are so excited to celebrate our wedding with friends and family and can’t wait to see what the future holds!
