Our love story began at Wesley UMC on Easter Sunday in 2015. Following the Sunday service after making eye contact throughout the morning, the Malone's left the church to return home, but that didn't stop Chase from introducing himself. That evening, his father contacted Alexis's mother to retrieve her contact information. That same night, Chase introduced himself to Alexis. From then history was made, and a whirlwind romance blossomed from sporadic texts, Skype calls, dates, and visiting each other's schools for Alexis's performances and Chase's football games that led them to become the best of friends!

Memories of frequent trips between Flossmoor and Orland Park transpired as we only got to see each other on the weekends. An already seemingly long-distance relationship grew even longer as we moved further away from each other as we attended different colleges for our freshman and sophomore years. Although these were two of the longest and most challenging years, they only strengthened our bond and made our hearts grow fonder. Seven years later, we are more mature, well versed in each other’s love languages, and looking forward to a lifetime of love and friendship.
