We knew the moment we met each other that there was something special between us. Alexis knew that this was the man she was going to marry the second they locked eyes and it was because of the Lord that this love story was even put in motion!

Jordan and Alexis met early summer of 2023 when Jordan started coming to grace group, though it was between sessions so they didn’t spend a whole lot of time together at first. Alexis overheard some conversations about how cool Jordan was and she knew she just HAD to get to know this guy! In June they worked on setting up their church for Vacation Bible School and Alexis purposefully partnered herself with Jordan to learn more about him, but they quickly found out they worked really well together and made the perfect team.

Alexis was persistent and wanted to show Jordan that she wasn’t just a friendly, bubbly girl he went to church with. She started messaging him, and to her surprise, he messaged back! She fell for him fast, with his love for the outdoors and the Lord. They spent a lot of their early conversations talking about how at peace and close to the Lord they felt when they were by the water or in the woods. It didnt take them long to realize this spark and went on their first date at the Flying Pepper Cantina, where they continue to visit regularly!

Together, Jordan and Alexis love adventuring outside! Whether they are walking in the woods with their dog, looking for the best place for Alexis' garden, or dreaming about what they can build by the pond to entertain, they always have a list of ideas and things to do! When its nice out, their evenings are spent by the pond, spending time praying together, for their future marriage that the Lord has blessed them with!

They are so excited for their wedding, but even more for the marriage to come and how each person they love has played such an important role in their love story!
