Alexous and Derrick met in Poland during their deployment in 2023-2024. Derrick knew that second he saw her that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her. Alexous first saw Derrick and was scared he was going to be mean to her.

One day Derrick and a couple other people were going on a mission and Alexous put together goody bags for all of them. Derrick got peanut M&Ms which are one of his favorites and he texted her thank you. They haven't stopped talking since. (They say don't feed the stray dogs because they never leave. Clearly she didn't listen)

On their first date Derrick told her that he loved her and that one day he would marry her. She thought he was just flirting and being dramatic and did not think much of it. Obviously, she should have paid attention to it.

They now have a beautiful daughter and are joining their lives together even further. They could not be happier for that day. All she did was give him some M&Ms and now you are all invited and hopefully attending their wedding!
