We are best friends first and foremost, and he never fails to make me smile or laugh. Brian is a police officer and I am a nurse, we have very busy work schedules. We spend our free time watching lots of football, soccer and baseball also we enjoy time with family and friends. When we aren’t busy with work or being social then we like to relax at home with our 3 dogs, Duke, Kilo, & Jax. We love the life we are building and we are excited to start this next chapter of our journey as Mr. & Mrs. Ferreira.

After 7 years, Brian finally decided to pop the question. He plays men's soccer and there is a soccer tournament every year in Artesia, Ca. We went to the tournament in May 2023, he initially planned to propose the first night we were there but I was feeling under the weather. On the last day of the tournament, we were getting ready to leave our Airbnb and I was rushing around. Brian called my name and when I turned around he was kneeling in the doorway with Duke and Kilo sitting perfectly on either side of him. He asked me to marry him and of course I said yes. Here we are now almost a year and a half later getting married!

Brian and I went to the same high school, he is 2 years older than me, so I was a freshman and he was a junior at Tulare Union High School. We met at an Icebreaker Dance and exchanged numbers back in 2011. We managed to remain in contact on and off over the years between 2011-2016, but our timing always seemed to be off. We went on our first date in Summer 2016 but it wasn't until Winter the same year when Brian sent me roses and sat me down at another dinner to tell me he wasn't messing around. January 13, 2017 he asked me to be his girlfriend, of course I said yes and we’ve been inseparable since.
