Alexys and Jeremy met on the USS Michael Murphy out of Oahu, Hawaii in 2019.

Right from the start, the two were quite fond of each other and quickly grew a friendship.

Through the many trials and tribulations the military had put them through, they still leaned on each other for support and guidance.

Unknowingly amongst each other (but apparently obvious to everyone else), the two had always harbored feelings for one another, but were too afraid to express it until November 2021.

Jeremy separated from the military in late 2022, Alexys did not finish her contract until late 2023, and made arrangements to move out to Virginia to live with Jeremy after service.

Currently, the two still live out in Virginia and have 3 loving cats together- Milk, Earl Grey, and Herbal. Alexys is a full-time student pursuing a career in Veterinary Science, and Jeremy works as a government contractor for the state department.

In the future, the couple plan to move (not entirely sure where yet), and buy a home where they can continue raising a family.
