God has a wonderful way of working things out. If our lives had gone the way we had planned them we would have never met. There were doors that God simply said no too, for the both for us, a time before we even met....

Aleya moved to Virginia from Ohio to work at the fencing club where I was working. At the time I was in Texas for a fencing tournament. When I got back I was surprised to find a new co-worker. I'll be honest I wasn't sure about this new girl coming into the club and changing the vibe but, after getting to work with her and learn more about her, I then knew how amazing she was, but never in my wildest dreams did I think she would eventually become my wife.

Our friendship started when I was teaching her how to fence and in return she taught me how to dance on beat, with my two left feet. From Bible studies to long walks things became very clear very fast, "This person brings out the best in me." Our lives were nothing but struggles and closed doors till we found each other, till God brought us into each others lives. Our struggles never stopped but we faced them together through prayer, love, and understanding each other's weaknesses, and leading each other towards God's will. We our each other perfect help mates.

We both feel that we are the door God finally said yes too!
