When Should We Get There?
The wedding weekend starts on Friday, May 10, 2024 and concludes on Sunday, May 12, 2024. We ask that all guest arrive at The Borgo di Castelvecchio on Friday in order to attend the Welcome Dinner Party. The Wedding Ceremony and Reception will be on Saturday and check out will be on Sunday after breakfast.
Getting There!
The two airports that are closest to the venue is Amerigo Vespucci Airport (Code: FLR) located in Florence and the Leonardo da Vinci–Fiumicino Airport (Code: FCO) located in Rome.
The distance from the airport in Florence to the venue is 2 hours (85 miles).
The distance from the airport in Rome to the venue is 2 1/2 hours (120 miles).
Because of the location of the venue it is easier to rent a car and drive. Both airports have car rental counters and the cost to rent a car for the weekend is relatively cheaper than paying for a round trip transfer. We know that not everyone can rent a car so if this will be an issue please let us know and we can make the necessary arrangements to ensure that everyone gets to the venue as safely as possible.

These rates are all one way. A round trip transfer for 6 people in a van would be approx. €150 per person. If you are interested in booking a transfer please let us know and we will provide the transfer info.
Where to stay?
Accommodation is available at the venue and we would love for everyone to stay with us. The rooms at Borgo di Castelvecchio are all double occupancy across 8 different villas. The cost per person for the entire weekend is $220 USD. There are only 32 rooms so we suggest to book your stay quickly. Otherwise, not to worry, there are other options for accommodations nearby that we can share with you.
