What time should I arrive to the ceremony?
Recommend that guests arrive 15 minutes or so before the official ceremony start time so they can get settled before the proceedings.
What is the dress code?
Semi-Formal Attire
Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?
Ceremony is planned for outdoors.
Cocktail hour is planned for outdoors.
Reception will be in a tent or barn.
What will the weather be like?
Hot and sunny, I would bring a pair of sunglasses. Barn got a fresh coat of white paint... extremely bright on the eyes.
Rain, i would bring an umbrella.
Parking available at the wedding venue?
Parking will be ditch/ road.
When you arrive there will be signs for parking.
What type of food and drink will be served during the cocktail hour and reception?
Cocktail hour will be an hour. signature drinks and beer will be available.
Hotel
Unfortunately, we do not live near a hotel. I would recommend the below.
Steinbach is 31 minutes away from our place. (2-3 hotels)
Beausejour is 25 minutes from our place. (1 hotel and 1 motel.)
Winnipeg is 36 minutes away from our place. (many options)
Camper / Tent
You are more than welcome to bring your camper or tent.
Please bring your own generator if you need power.
