Our Wedding

Aleysia and Daniel’s love story began when they both joined the Penn State Scranton cheerleading team in 2015! How many can say they met the love of their life on the cheer team? When they met Daniel was a junior getting ready to transfer to Penn State WB campus, and Aleysia was a sophomore getting ready to transfer to Main campus, but knowing they were going their separate ways soon after meeting didn’t stop them from connecting, and when they did they instantly clicked, and since then they have been together for 6 years. Aleysia and Daniel have been through it all together these last 6 years- the good, the bad, the ugly, the beautiful. Now, here they are getting ready for this next exciting chapter in their relationship. They can’t wait to see what the future holds for them as Mr. and Mrs. DeLeo. 🤍#ThisisabigDeLeo

Erika is the bride's step-sister, but they consider each other sisters and best friends since they basically grew up with one another! Aleysia's dad and Erika's mom got together when they were just 2 and 3 years old. They grew up very close, to the point where they can be identical at times- really, what one did/got the other did/got lol. But it just goes to show how much she knows Aleysia, and because of that there is no one more deserving than Erika to be Aleysia's maid of honor :)

Chrissy and the bride worked together for a couple of years at the Throop Civic Center and became besties very quickly due to their similarities and relatable sense of humor.  Chrissy is that friend that everyone needs. She is Aleysia's go-to, her listening ear, her hype woman, and the friend that overall always instantly makes Aleysia feel better. She’s seen Aleysia at both her worst and her best, and because of that Aleysia could not possibly imagine walking down the aisle without her!

Julie was the bride's first friend when they both made the Penn State Scranton cheerleading team. They got so close that when it was time to transfer to Penn State Main campus they became roommates, and now she’s about to be a bridesmaid in Aleysia's wedding! She’s a friend that has been there since day 1 of Aleysia and Danny’s relationship and one of the few that never doubted them. She’s the most outgoing, honest, loyal and creative friend, and Aleysia could not imagine saying “I do” without her by her side!

Sarah and the bride have been best friends since middle school! They did end up going their separate ways after they graduated high school, but realized how good of friends they once were and reunited again when Danny and Aleysia started dating 6 years ago, and since then it felt like they never separated. They have so many fun memories together- from gym class, to sleepovers, to dancing at levels (RIP), and now getting Aleysia married! Sarah is one of Aleysia's bestest friends and she could not be more excited to have her by her side on her wedding day!

Where is the ceremony?Our ceremony is at Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish located at 1101 Willow St. Peckville, PA 18452. Where is the reception?Our reception is at Edgewood Country Club located at 22 Edgewood Rd. Drums, PA 18222. What is the dress code?Formal. A suit and tie type of look for the guys, and dresses or dressy jumpsuits for the girls. Will food be served at the reception?OF COURSE. There will be hor d’oeuvres served at cocktail hour followed by a full course meal of your choice (make sure to RSVP w/ your meal choice!). There will also be a “send off station” with soft pretzels towards the end of the night. Will there be open bar?YES. The open bar will begin at cocktail hour and last throughout the night. Can I bring a date?Your invitation will note your +1. Are kids invited?We love your kids, we really do! However, this will be an adults-only reception so parents can take the night to enjoy some time off. Please feel free to bring them to the ceremony, though! Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?Yes! Please feel free to take lots of photos and post to your social media sites. Make sure to use our hashtag #ThisisaBigDeLeo when posting and also download the app 'The Guest' to share your photos with us as well! Our only request is that you refrain from taking photos during our ceremony. We will have a professional photographer capturing our day, and would hate to see phones ruining the photos. Is there a hotel that guests can book a room for the night if the travel from reception to home is too far of a drive?Yes! There are rooms blocked out at the Fairfield Inn for our guests to reserve. Please see the “accommodations” tab on our page. Is there a shuttle to pick us up from the venue to take us to the hotel?Yes. The shuttle will take all that are staying at the hotel towards the end of the night. We do not condone drinking and driving, so please if you don’t plan on staying at the hotel plan a ride home with someone sober. Where are you registered?We are registered with Target and HoneyFund. A shuttle will be picking everyone up towards the end of the night to take us to the hotel. Reservations end August 14th!
