Our Wedding

Our love story began with the perfect mix of fate and mutual friends. It was one of those moments where everything just seemed to fall into place. We met through friends, and right from the start, there was an undeniable connection. We found ourselves bonding over our shared love for football, the excitement of game days, and our deep passion for USC. It felt like we were two puzzle pieces that fit together effortlessly. In November of 2018, we made the leap from friends to something more. That was the start of something incredible. As we spent more time together, it became clear that we were meant to be. Our dates turned into adventures, with laughter, deep conversations, and the kind of chemistry that only comes from being with someone who truly understands you. We were always on the move, traveling together to explore new places, making memories in every city, and growing even closer with each new experience. But 2022 was the year that truly defined our journey. It was our biggest year yet. We bought our first home together — a place where we would begin to build our future. That home became a symbol of all the dreams we shared and the life we were creating. And then, to top it all off, the moment that sealed it all: the proposal that cemented our forever. The engagement was everything we had dreamed of, a perfect reflection of our love and the incredible bond we had nurtured over the years. From mutual friends to a shared passion for football and USC, to travels, our first home, and an engagement, this story is just the beginning. Each chapter has been filled with joy, adventure, and love. And as we continue to grow, there’s no telling where the next chapter will take us, but one thing is for certain — it will be filled with more memories and more love than we ever imagined.

The wedding reception will take place on the rooftop of Hotel La Alondra. Please contact the hotel directly at 315 355 8372/315 355 8373 to make your room reservation. The hotel is ready to accommodate as many nights as you need. At the time of making your reservation, please share that you are a guest for the wedding of Sofia Nava and Ali Deeb.

The closest international airport to the wedding location is in Manzanillo, Colima. It is a 30 minute drive to Barra De Navidad. There are taxis available to provide transportation to and from the airport.

If you are local to Southern California, we encourage you to explore flight options from the airport in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico. Aeromexico Airlines offers daily flights from Tijuana to Manzanillo. You can utilize the Cross Border Express (CBX) in San Diego to access the airport. The CBX also offers on-site parking. We will link the website to the CBX.

Think breezy elegance with a touch of seaside romance. Flowing dresses, light suits, and soft colors are perfect. Please skip anything too casual (shorts, flip-flops, or beachwear) so we can all celebrate in style under the rooftop sunset. Piensa en una elegancia ligera con un toque de romance junto al mar. Great place for breakfast, they have a coffee shop that includes freshly made juices. It is located right across from Hotel la Alondra.

This restaurant is open for lunch and dinner. Full bar and live music, with a view of the lagoon.

El Manglito

Yachts rentals available for up to 6 hours and water activities include: kayaks, paddle boards, snorkeling, etc. Rental includes an ice chest and cooler. Bring your own drinks, food, and snacks. Yacht will take you to nearby beaches like Tenacatita, Cuastecomates and Tamarindo. For reservations contact Rafael Flores Hernandez.
