Curtis has lived in Red Oak his whole life. Ali moved to Red Oak when she was 8.


Curtis doesn’t remember meeting Ali for the first time, but he remembers meeting her grandma (they were together) 🙄


Curtis messaged Ali not realizing they had met a few months prior, and then after she responded, he took 2 days to reply back, resulting in her being a smart ass 🤣 It only took him a few days to request a date. When he took charge and told her he was picking her up and they were going to Fishin Pig she was shook thinking, “oh he’s a real man”. On their first date, they realized that Curtis is actually the cousin of Ali’s brother in law, and they know a lot of the same people. They couldn’t believe they hadn’t met long before.


When Curtis pulled in the driveway to drop Ali off from their first date, Chrissy came out on the porch in Ali’s bath robe like an old lady yelling, “Where have you been it is way past your curfew” with her finger pointing. (It was only 9pm)


He knew right away Ali and Chrissy were a 2 for 1 deal and he never faltered. Eagerly stepping up to attend events, practices, games, looking forward to all the Mexicans dates, flawlessly handling 2 very BIG personalities and exceeding all of their (sometimes ridiculous) expectations.


Even though Ali has a tendency to ruin all of their special moments by laughing at Curtis and generally asking, “Are you serious right now?” He somehow still wants to marry her.


One things for certain, we’ve all waited a long time for this love 🫶🏽
