<p>Shoutout to my auntie Fawzia. One day she texted me, "Ali...you have to meet this girl. I dont know why I didn't introduce yall before." I trust Fawzia, so I didn't ask any questions, and I told her to send me her contact. I texted Yasmeen that day and 1hr later we were facetiming. We talked for a few weeks before I drove to New Mexico to hang out with her and her brothers. She was cool, but they were REALLY cool, so I was sold. A few months after that, me and my parents went to meet with her parents. Our families became fast friends, and they actually ditched us after our hiking trip to get coffee. At that moment, we knew we had made the right choice. The rest was history.</p>
