After graduating from Elon and moving back to MA for a little bit, Ali got a job offer in Greensboro, NC. Having no idea what she was getting herself into, she decided to accept it and move back to NC. It was only about a year later that she met the love of her life and the rest is history.

In the summer of 2021, Nick and Ali first met at a brewery in Greensboro called Southend. And to this date, this is their favorite brewery and one of their favorite date night spots.

Nick was living in Wallburg, NC (about 40 mins away), but after meeting Ali, he made the commute to Greensboro almost every single day. They enjoyed trying out new restaurants, breweries, hiking spots, snowboarding, and various other adventures during their free time.

Once Ali’s lease in Greensboro was coming to an end, they started contemplating the idea of buying a house. After a few declined offers, and only a few months later; in May 2022, they got the keys to their new home in High Point.

Shortly after moving into the new home, they decided the house wasn’t quite a home without a dog. So they welcomed Murphy, a chocolate lab puppy, into their lives in June 2022.

Little did Ali know, Nick was also in the process of buying a ring. And in October 2022, he would ask her to marry him as they were on a hike in Boone, NC.

Also, little did they know that exactly 1 year after buying their 1st home, they would be awoken in the middle of the night to a tree crushing their house. Thankfully everyone was safe, but the house was a total loss. So in the middle of their wedding-planning, they are also starting the process of building a new home.

Ali and Nick truly are best friends and are so excited to start this next chapter of their lives!
