Our Wedding

Grant &amp; Ali's story started on the wrestling mat at Aplington-Parkersburg. Ali was in the 7th grade, Grant was in 8th grade, and fate paired them up for Ali’s very first junior high match. It was love at first wrestling match. ;) The match went into overtime, and Ali came out the winner. Grant, however, didn’t take the loss too well, he ran off in tears. But his dad, Tim, quickly reminded him of the silver lining: “She’s pretty cute… you should get her number.”Later that night, Grant added Ali on Snapchat, and the two began chatting. For the next two years, Grant asked Ali weekly to be his girlfriend. Persistence pays off, because on July 23, 2016, Ali finally turned the tables and asked Grant to be her boyfriend.Their relationship grew through the years, filled with love, adventures, and plenty of laughs. On February 23rd, 2025, Punta Cana, Grant asked Ali the most important question yet, and this time, Ali didn’t make him wait two years to say yes.Today, they share their lives with Tex, their beloved black English lab, and Uzi, their cutie pie black pug, who proudly claim the role of “offspring”. Now, they can’t wait to celebrate their next chapter with all of you!
