At a young age Matt and Ali were brought together by family friends, but as fate would have it, they didn’t truly begin their journey until the end of their freshman year of college in June of 2017. Though they had known of each other for a while, it wasn’t until that moment when their paths finally crossed in a meaningful way.

From there, everything changed. What began as a ride in Matt's truck with him singing at the top of his lungs soon turned into a deeper connection and a summer full of happiness.

They quickly discovered how much they shared— from their love of Disney World and adventures in camping, to their mutual appreciation for spending time with each other’s families. After doing three years of long distance while Ali attended ECSU and Matt attended Penn State, they moved back home and began new adventures together.

They bonded over their cherished moments with Belle, their princess dog, who has been the perfect addition to their lives and a true testament to the love and care they bring to everything they do.

As their relationship blossomed, Matt and Ali found that they were partners in every sense of the word. Whether planning their next trip or making memories in the everyday moments, their bond grew stronger with each passing day. They loved each other’s families as if they were their own, sharing in each other’s joys and supporting one another through every challenge.

On December 23, 2023, Matt took a step that would change their lives forever. Surrounded by love and the holiday spirit, he asked Ali to spend the rest of their lives together. With a heart full of happiness, Ali said “yes,” marking the beginning of the next chapter of their beautiful love story.

Now, as they eagerly look forward to their wedding on July 19, 2025, Matt and Ali are filled with gratitude for the journey they’ve had so far and excitement for all that is to come. They can’t wait to share this special day with you, the people who have been part of their story and who will continue to be part of their future.
