Nick and Ali can be found on random days off at the Cincinnati Museum Center in the historic Union Terminal. Check out the amazing Cincinnati history or (Ali's favorite) the replica of the cave system. Great activity for kids! It's still an operational Amtrak terminal if you're looking for an alternative transportation!
Eden Park is where Ali and Maggie (their pup) often walk, as it's only a short mile from Hackberry. Take in an afternoon at the playground and basketball courts in Tom Jones Commons, or visit Krohn's Conservatory. On your way, be sure to stroll around historic Mirror Lake, and snap a picture overlooking the Ohio River at Twin Ponds. It's a small, but wonderful bit of nature in the middle of the city.
You can find Nick and Ali at Findlay on most weekends, exploring the local crafts, or (Ali only) taking in a glass of wine at Market Wines. This is certainly one of the most historic spot in Cincy, as it's the oldest, continuously operating market in Ohio. If you're looking for a lunch spot, there's plenty of options here, but Eckerlin's pastrami sandwich is a local gem!
Washington Park is where Nick and Ali pregame the FCC Games with Mike and G. There's a splash pad for kids, a great playground and a small but lovely dog park. Bonus, the patio bar, which serves beer, wine and cocktails, should be open in the summer. Check the event page, as there's always activities happening.
Ali suggests an underground brewery tour in Cincinnati for a historic view of the architecture and strong beer history here.
Walking distance (for Ali) from Hackberry, the art museum has a lot to offer - be sure to check out the Andy Warhol of Pete Rose!
When you're looking to get around downtown Cincinnati, the Streetcar is the fastest, cheapest and most convenient option, reaching from the south at the Banks to Rhinegeist in the north. The stop at Music Hall will be closest to TQL for our reception!
The Streetcar is free for all riders, but the rest of the busses require fare, which can be purchased on the Google Transit app.
