It all started when Ali moved back to Stamford in 2017 and found an apartment on Dean Street where some friends lived.

Unwilling to pay for more to live in a terribly small apartment, she would go to her neighbors next door to watch cable. They had a new roommate named Connor who had a seemingly reserved spot on the right corner of the couch every time she was there.

Two years of friendship later, Connor finally made a move on Ali at his favorite bar in the city Mad River (RIP) and the rest is history.

In 2020, they adopted a cockapoo named Caddie. In March of 2023, Connor proposed on the Hudson River with family all around sneaking pictures.
