Alia and Dean met at First Friday Adoration, a Catholic worship event, at St. Barnabas. Less than a week later, Dean worked up the courage to ask Alia out on a date! A few months later they officially became boyfriend and girlfriend in October 2019. They are quite the adventurous couple, and have been on road-trips to North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Michigan, Chicago, Florida, Wyoming, and Colorado together. They have two doggos whom always accompany them on these crazy, often spontaneous, adventures. On May 1st, 2021, Dean got down on one knee and asked Alia to do him the honor of joining him on the greatest adventure towards God, and to create the most marvelous story of all time as his partner. She said yes, of course :)
