Meanwhile, in the heartland of Indiana, Alice nurtured dreams of becoming a nurse, her heart full of hope and compassion.

Fate works in mysterious ways, and in October of 2017, John and Alice's paths crossed. Introduced by mutual friends, the best man Colton and bridesmaid Marianna, they felt an instant connection. Despite the miles between them, their love blossomed, enduring the challenges of a long-distance relationship. But love, as it often does, found a way.

In June of 2018, Alice moved to Connecticut, and their hearts were finally united. Together, they built a life filled with joy and laughter, and in 2020, they took the next step, buying their first home and filling it with the playful antics of their two cats, Strap and Orange.
