Alice and Brennen first met through mutual friends in their hometown of Muskegon, but it wasn’t until years later that their paths crossed again at the Muskegon Country Club. Alice was working in the pro shop, and just as she was closing up, Brennen came in to pick up a golf club. Perfect timing brought them back into each other’s lives! 

Their first date was a night at the Grand Rapids Symphony, a requirement for a class Brennen was taking at GVSU. While not the typical first date for 20 year old kids it turned out to be the perfect setting to the start of something special.

They knew it was love quickly! Between the drives and phone calls, they navigated their relationship through their last 2 years of college with a shared sense of commitment and care that made the miles feel shorter. After graduation, Alice moved to Grand Rapids to be closer to Brennen. 

Brennen proposed at Boyne Mountain in February after over four years of dating, surrounded by some of Alice’s closest friends. He had listened to every detail of her dream proposal and made it a reality - thoughtful, sweet, and completely unforgettable.

What makes their relationship so special is their ability to laugh together through anything. They’re best friends first and foremost, and their shared humor is a cornerstone of their love.

Now, they’re so excited to begin this next chapter and can’t wait to celebrate their love with all the people who mean the most to them!
