**Gentlemen - please avoid wearing a green suit on the wedding day**
What events are lined up?
We're thrilled to spend the weekend with you in beautiful Oahu! Please plan to join us for our welcome party Saturday, September 20th at 6PM at Dukes Waikiki. Then, let’s party it up for the real deal Sunday, September 21st. We're excited to celebrate with you!
Where's the best place to stay?
Waikiki is the perfect spot! With plenty of hotels, restaurants, and shopping, plus the beach just steps away, you’ll be in the heart of it all. We’ll be staying at the Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort & Spa, but feel free to choose any nearby hotel. Everything’s within walking distance or a quick Uber ride away. On the wedding day, we’ll provide transportation from the Marriott to the venue and back. Check out our travel page for more information.
What should I wear to the welcome party?
All white, but keep it casual.
Ladies, think flowy dresses, breezy co-ords, or chic jumpsuits in all shades of white. Gents, white Hawaiian shirts, beachy button downs, tailored shorts or relaxed-fit pants are all fair game.
What should I wear to the wedding?
Tropical formal.
For the ladies: Think light, airy, and breezy with midi, or maxi dresses! Embrace bright colors and floral patterns—I mean, when in Hawaii, right? Since all events will be outdoors on grass, avoid stilettos or wear heel stoppers or block heels for comfort. The bridal party will be in olive green.
For the gentlemen: Linen, linen, linen! A collared linen button-down or linen suit with slip-on loafers is the perfect vibe. Look sharp, but keep cool in the fabric. Groom will be in green *please avoid wearing a green suit* —it's also his special day after all.
