Michael and Alicia met in 2011, at Plymouth State University. The two became friends quickly and found they had many shared interests. Despite having a crush on each other, neither quite worked up the courage to ask the other on a date in the following four years.

In 2015 they reconnected at a mutual friends birthday party. They spent hours talking, playing games, and getting reacquainted. In the following month they spoke nearly every day, growing closer by the minute.

In October 2016, Alicia and Michael went on their first date. Both of them managed to work up the courage to share their feelings...finally!

Eight years later, and the two of them are beyond excited to take the next step in their relationship through marriage!
