Our Wedding

Edward&nbsp;was&nbsp;the&nbsp;first&nbsp;one&nbsp;to&nbsp;make&nbsp;a&nbsp;move!&nbsp;He&nbsp;messaged&nbsp;Alicia&nbsp;through&nbsp;Myspace&nbsp;and&nbsp;slowly&nbsp;the&nbsp;conversation&nbsp;grew&nbsp;(and&nbsp;never&nbsp;stopped).&nbsp;They&nbsp;both&nbsp;agreed&nbsp;to&nbsp;meet&nbsp;face&nbsp;to&nbsp;face&nbsp;for&nbsp;the&nbsp;first&nbsp;time&nbsp;at&nbsp;the&nbsp;Earthfest&nbsp;Festival&nbsp;hosted&nbsp;at&nbsp;Edward's&nbsp;high&nbsp;school,&nbsp;Northside&nbsp;High.&nbsp;Alicia&nbsp;and&nbsp;Edward&nbsp;spent&nbsp;quality&nbsp;time&nbsp;together&nbsp;during&nbsp;the&nbsp;festival,&nbsp;walking&nbsp;around&nbsp;the&nbsp;empty&nbsp;halls&nbsp;of&nbsp;the&nbsp;school,&nbsp;conversating&nbsp;and&nbsp;then&nbsp;eventually&nbsp;heading&nbsp;to&nbsp;the&nbsp;local&nbsp;corner&nbsp;store.&nbsp;There&nbsp;they&nbsp;each&nbsp;got&nbsp;a&nbsp;can&nbsp;of&nbsp;root&nbsp;beer,&nbsp;and&nbsp;began&nbsp;heading&nbsp;back&nbsp;to&nbsp;the&nbsp;school.&nbsp;Along&nbsp;the&nbsp;way&nbsp;back,&nbsp;they&nbsp;stopped&nbsp;unexpectedly&nbsp;under&nbsp;a&nbsp;giant&nbsp;floral&nbsp;tree.&nbsp;Alicia&nbsp;mentioned&nbsp;how&nbsp;beautiful&nbsp;the&nbsp;flowers&nbsp;on&nbsp;this&nbsp;tree&nbsp;were,&nbsp;to&nbsp;which&nbsp;Edward&nbsp;responded&nbsp;"just&nbsp;like&nbsp;you".&nbsp;This&nbsp;is&nbsp;when&nbsp;they&nbsp;shared&nbsp;their&nbsp;first&nbsp;kiss!&nbsp;On&nbsp;this&nbsp;day,&nbsp;their&nbsp;love&nbsp;story&nbsp;began.

How They Met

Alicia&nbsp;and&nbsp;Edward&nbsp;went&nbsp;on&nbsp;their&nbsp;first&nbsp;vacation&nbsp;alone&nbsp;together&nbsp;on&nbsp;a&nbsp;Carnival&nbsp;cruise.&nbsp;It&nbsp;was&nbsp;the&nbsp;day&nbsp;of&nbsp;their&nbsp;15th&nbsp;anniversary.&nbsp;They&nbsp;had&nbsp;started&nbsp;the&nbsp;day&nbsp;with&nbsp;shore&nbsp;excursions&nbsp;in&nbsp;Progresso,&nbsp;Yucatan&nbsp;.&nbsp;They&nbsp;swam&nbsp;in&nbsp;a&nbsp;cave&nbsp;cenote,&nbsp;had&nbsp;an&nbsp;authentic&nbsp;Mayan&nbsp;lunch,&nbsp;and&nbsp;then&nbsp;visited&nbsp;a&nbsp;Mayan&nbsp;pyramid&nbsp;ruins.&nbsp;Back&nbsp;on&nbsp;the&nbsp;ship,&nbsp;they&nbsp;had&nbsp;dinner&nbsp;reservation&nbsp;at&nbsp;Cucina&nbsp;Del&nbsp;Capitano.&nbsp;They&nbsp;enjoyed&nbsp;their&nbsp;Italian&nbsp;meal&nbsp;and&nbsp;decided&nbsp;to&nbsp;finish&nbsp;their&nbsp;bottle&nbsp;of&nbsp;wine&nbsp;on&nbsp;the&nbsp;Serenity&nbsp;deck.&nbsp;While&nbsp;sitting&nbsp;on&nbsp;a&nbsp;cabana&nbsp;bed&nbsp;and&nbsp;looking&nbsp;at&nbsp;the&nbsp;night&nbsp;ocean,&nbsp;Edward&nbsp;got&nbsp;down&nbsp;on&nbsp;one&nbsp;knee&nbsp;and&nbsp;purposed&nbsp;to&nbsp;Alicia.
