Where do I RSVP?
To make it easy on the couple and guests we ask that you please RSVP on our website through theknot.com. You can find this section by visiting the home page of our website and click on the RSVP button located below our picture. RSVPs will open in April of 2024
Where are you registered for gifts?
Instead of a gift registry we are doing cash funds! We have set up two funds through our wedding website, a forever home fund and a honeymoon fund! We will also have a card box at the venue. We thank you for helping contribute to new experiences and adventures as husband and wife!
Where is the wedding?
The wedding ceremony and reception will be held at the same property located in Chama, NM. For information on places to stay please see the travel tab located on our website.
Is the wedding ceremony and the reception at the same place?
Yes! All wedding events including ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will take place at Log River Ranch located in Chama, New Mexico at 16510 Hwy 84 Chama, New Mexico.
Are kids allowed?
We love each and every one of your children; however, we are having an Adult-Only event with the exception of immediate family. Please consider making it a date-night! We appreciate your understanding and support of our wishes. We can't wait to celebrate with you!
Please note if the invitation states “family” or your child’s specific name is included on the invite they are included in the invitation.
Is there an open bar?
Yes! There will be an open bar for guests who are over the age of 21. However, we ask that you please DO NOT put yourself and others at risk by getting behind the wheel while intoxicated. If you need a shuttle home please indicate yes on the RSVP page.
Is there a hotel block?
Yes! There are hotel blocks available at a hotel and RV park. Please see the travel tab on our website for more information.
What is the dress code?
To help make this an unforgettable evening we kindly ask that you dress semi formal/ Western formal. Jeans and a dress shirt is acceptable!
Footwear!
There are portions of the venue and ceremony areas that include gravel, grass, and/or rocky trails. Please keep this in mind when deciding on footwear, we wouldn’t want anyone to get hurt.
Are there colors I should avoid wearing?
For the purpose of photos looking cohesive, we humbly ask that our guests refrain from wearing bright or neon clothing. We also ask that guests refrain from wearing all white or cream colored clothing. Thank you for understanding!
Will it be cold
The average temperature for that time of year is about 75 to 80 degrees during the day and high 60s to low 70s during the night. Please dress accordingly.
Where do I park my car?
The ceremony and reception are located in the same place so no need to travel between events. There is a designated parking area for the event, cars will be directed as they arrive. We ask that you please stay on the road and do not drive off the path. Doing so may result in damages which can lead to an additional fee from the venue.
Can I leave my car at the venue if I take a shuttle back to the hotel?
Yes. Cars are permitted to be left on the property overnight so long as they are picked up the next day by 10am. If the car is not retrieved in time both the couple and the guest are subject to fees. Any cars left on the property after 10am on 9-29-24 have the possibility of being towed.
Are there shuttles provided?
There will be two shuttles with designated pick up and drop off times at the end of the reception. Space on these shuttles are limited and will be reserved for individuals that are unable to drive safely after enjoying evening activities. The purpose of this service is to prevent drinking and driving. Please take advantage of this service rather than compromising your safety and the safety of those around you.
Where do the shuttles drop off?
As of right now the drop off locations for the shuttles is yet to be determined. Each shuttle can accommodate 14 individuals and up to 4 drop off locations within the Chama area. Drop off locations need to be determined a month prior to the event and will be selected based off the number of guests at each location.
Can I bring my own Alcohol
NO! The venue has a strict policy that requires all alcohol to be served by their bar service. If anyone is caught drinking alcohol that is not served by the bar that guest WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE. Failing to follow the rules of the venue can result in the event being canceled. Please follow all rules so that we can all enjoy this special night!
Appropriate behavior
Any inappropriate behavior including but not limited to severe intoxication, inappropriate comments, fighting, drinking alcohol not served by the bar, and/or not following rules in general will be asked to leave! These rules are set by both the couple and the venue and are in place for safety.
