We recommend looking at the Richardson area around Hwy75 and the George Bush Turnpike, the Aloft in west Plano or the Courtyard Marriot in Allen TX to stay within a 30 minute drive of the church and reception venue. Please do not stay at the Hilton Garden in Allen TX. It is not a good choice.

You can get an Uber or Lyft to travel around town, however with the metroplex being so spread out, and Wylie being semi-rural, costs will quickly add up when using carshare services.

Dallas Love field airport is about 40-45 minutes from Wylie area. Only Southwest and Delta fly into Love field. DFW airport is about 45 minutes -1 1/4 hour depending on traffic from Wylie.

We recommend for shopping either historic downtown McKinney or the Galleria Dallas. Good musuems are the Heard Museum, the Perot, Dallas Museum of Art, Meadows Museum @ SMU, or the George Bush Presidental Museum. For those who were fans of the DALLAS TV show, Southfork Ranch has tours and is only a 10 minute drive from Wylie. If you are willing to travel: the Stockyards in Fort Worth or The Bureau of Engraving and Printing are great options.
