Our Wedding

Let's talk about the story of how Alicia and Katelyn came to be. It was March of 2020.. wait scratch that it was fall of 2015, Katelyn was playing basketball for her high school team and Alicia was a cheerleader on the sidelines.. cheering for Katelyn's opposing team that is. In this time fate had been sealed, path's had been crossed but no words were ever shared between the two. Stay with me here, we're going to fast forward back to March of 2020. A time where most people kind of blocked out, it was the era of COVID. For Alicia and Katelyn it was a time to remember, it was the start to their forever. Alicia and Katelyn are both Aquarius's and at the time were both semi introverts so you can probably guess where they met.. They matched on not ONE but two dating sites, and it wasn't until Katelyn messaged Alicia asking to exchange numbers. The couple began to message all day everyday for two WHOLE days before they met, yes they wasted no time. On the day Alicia and Katelyn planned to hang out, Alicia almost canceled but Katelyn swooned Alicia and there she was pulling up to her driveway, Katelyn standing there waiting to greet her. Not even five minutes into meeting both Alicia and Katelyn slipped and fell in the pitch black in the back of her parents house, there was no awkwardness, no nervous new dating jitters. The couple immediately hit it off, and were still able to find fun things to do together despite the entire world being shut down. Let's fast forward to the next month they became inseparable, going to the parks, on walks, watching movies, hanging out with family. When restaurant's finally started to open up Alicia and Katelyn were able to have their first official date at Atami's which has now become their annual birthday dinner spot. Once May rolled around Alicia made her move back to Austin and shortly after Katelyn returned back to Georgetown to continue her senior year of college. We're in August now so thats what? four months? By this point Alicia and Katelyn were now categorized as what the younger generations call "uhaul lesbians" because, while Alicia did have her own apartment in Austin she spent most of her day's and nights at Katelyns. They also got a puppy together in October of 2020 who is now known as Hera. Let's fast forward again, to July of 2021 by this point Katelyn has graduated and gotten a call for a coaching position back in small town College Station, so Alicia and Katelyn decided to take the next step and officially get their first home together and move back to where it all started. Though Alicia was hesitant there was no one place she would not go to be with Katelyn, and trust me.. College Station was pretty high on the list of places not to go. So come August of 2021 they moved into their first home together, and began making amazing memories as a couple and as individuals. I think we're going to jump ahead one more time.. thanks for staying with us this far. Now we have reached July of 2023, a time Alicia would say took forever to come but deep down knows it was the perfect time. The couple had planned a trip with their friends to spend the weekend at the beach in Corpus Christi which then turned into one of the best days of their life. They got engaged! Lots of tears, sand, and love was in the air that trip. That brings us to here and now, Alicia and Katelyn will be getting married soon, and celebrating their eternal love. We really hope you will continue on our journey even after our big day. We love you, and cannot wait to see you there!
