Our story began in the most unexpected of places: middle school Spanish class. Back then, Brandon had a unique way of getting my attention—by stealing my Gatorades. What seemed like innocent mischief at the time was actually the beginning of something much bigger than either of us could have imagined.

Years passed, and life took us on different paths. But in 2020, our worlds collided once again. We reconnected and I decided to take a leap of faith and ask him out on a date. To my surprise, he initially turned me down! But, as fate would have it, he quickly reconsidered, and we met up at the Jolly Pumpkin in Royal Oak, MI. From the moment we sat down together, there was a connection that neither of us could deny. The next night, he asked me to join him for dinner where he cooked me steak, mashed potatoes and asparagus. He is quite the cook! This is where our journey together officially starts.

As our relationship blossomed, we started building a life together filled with love, laughter, and adventure. Our weekends often involved meeting up in Cincinnati, where we’d enjoy our favorite Cajun crab takeout—deliciously messy and served in a plastic bag! These moments became cherished memories, full of good food, great conversation, and the joy of being together.

One of our most memorable decisions was expanding our little family. We found ourselves in the middle of nowhere, where we stumbled upon a special pup (our Gator boy) who needed a home. He was ours at a special discount, and just like that, our hearts and home were fuller. If you have ever had the pleasure of meeting this quirky and energetic pup, you will know he is quite special! He keeps us on our toes and a royal pain to Zetti. ;)

July 4th weekend in 2022 was a very special time for us. Brandon proposed! He planned the most adorable proposal, right on a boat in the middle of Fife Lake. He brought out a floating lantern to set the mood for the big moment, cute right? Well, the lantern decided to take on a mind of its own, almost setting the boat canopy on fire! Looking back, an event that could have turned into a disaster at any moment, is now a funny memory we share with our friends and family. It is a weekend we will never forget. But most importantly, I said YES!

Together, we’ve created countless memories across Michigan, from road trips to quiet nights in. And now, we’ve embarked on a new chapter in Knoxville, TN.

Our journey has been filled with twists, turns, and unexpected surprises, but through it all, we’ve always had each other. We can’t wait to share our special day with you and celebrate the love that has brought us here.
