Our Wedding

Jed and Alicia met in September of ‘21 through mutual friends. After many conversations about the weather, Alicia made the first move and exchanged contact information with Jed. Their first date was when Jed invited Alicia to go with him to the dog park. In no time at all they were spending time together and finding reasons for doing so, Archer took a lot of walks! At 8 months Jed asked Alicia to move in with him. Their friendship and love grew day after day. From hard weeks of work and promotions, to car trips back home to see Alicia’s family, to an Amish Australian Labrador brother for Archer. They haven’t been apart for more than a single two day stretch, since before she agreed to move in

Finally in the fall of 2023, Jed felt he could not wait any longer to ask her hand in marriage. They had been talking about a short getaway, so they booked a little house at Sylvan lake, right across the water from the Gene Stratton Porter preserve. On their last day, windswept with a threat of rain in the air, they ventured into Stratton porter. They made it from the forested entrance and past the historic house, down to a dock at the water’s edge. That’s where He proposed and she agreed to forever.

This is just the beginning of our story. We are excited and eager to start a family. We have plans to continue building our house into the home we’ve always dreamed of. We have many adventures ahead and wherever the journey takes us, it will always be together.

WHERE WILL THE CEREMONY AND RECEPTION TAKE PLACE?

The ceremony will take place at 12:00 P.M. at The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in beautiful downtown Fort Wayne, Indiana. Our reception will be held at The Orchid Event Center in New Haven, Indiana from 2 to 7 P.M. Food will be served at 2:30 P.M.

HOW DO I RSVP?

Please RSVP through our website using the RSVP tab above. From there you can confirm attendance for each member of your family.

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I CAN'T MAKE IT?

WHERE SHOULD I PARK?

There is a parking lot attached to the Cathedral as well as an additional parking lot across Lewis Street.

CAN WE BRING OUR CHILDREN?

Absolutely! We love kids! We will have plenty of fun ideas to entertain your little ones!
