We kindly request that guests dress in wedding-casual attire for both the ceremony and reception. The ceremony will be held outdoors near the lake, weather permitting, while the reception will take place under a tent nearby. For men, we suggest dress pants or khakis paired with a collared shirt. Guests may choose to accessorize with a tie or sports jacket. We kindly ask that jeans and sneakers be avoided. For women, appropriate options include dresses, skirts, pantsuits, blouses, and slacks. As the event will be held on grass, we encourage guests to plan their footwear accordingly.

Following the ceremony, an open bar will be available in the reception tent. We will offer Coors Light and Michelob Golden Light draft beers, as well as a selection of seltzers and wines for our guests. The entire resort has been booked exclusively for our family and friends, allowing for a relaxed self-serve policy. Guests are welcome to help themselves to beverages in their private cabins and bring them to the reception and ceremony, but all drinks must remain in plastic cups, as glass is prohibited in the reception tent.

Our officiant, Bobbi Machesky, is a long-time family friend. I have known her since I was a young girl. Bobbi is a sweet and caring woman, and the ideal hostess - we are truly blessed to have her officiate our ceremony. Since moving to Aitkin full-time, both Bobbi and her husband Cheese have become an integral part of our lives. Jerry and Cheese have become close friends, and they enjoy their weekly bingo events together. We also all go ice fishing as a group, with our ice houses always situated side-by-side.
