How long should I plan to stay at the resort?
The resort requires a minimum stay of three nights, and we kindly ask that guests plan to arrive on Friday and depart on Monday. If you'd like to extend your stay, you're welcome to book additional nights BEFORE Friday, but please note that departures must be no later than Monday.
This ensures we all have a wonderful weekend celebration together, and it gives Eddy and Alina some special time to kick off the honeymoon after Monday. Thank you for understanding, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you!
What should I do if I need help when booking my room?
Please reach out to Alina or Eddy if you need any assistance. Alina is familiar with this resort and would be more than happy to help with any questions or guide you through the booking process to ensure everything goes smoothly and you don’t run into any issues. We are both here to make this as easy and stress-free as possible for you!
When Should I RSVP By?
We kindly ask that you RSVP by June 2nd, 2025. After this date, we’ll assume you’re unable to attend so we can finalize our plans accordingly.
What is the dress code for the wedding?
The dress code for our wedding is cocktail attire, and we encourage everyone to really dress up for the occasion! For ladies, this means a floor-length dress or an elegant knee length dress. For gentlemen, we suggest a light-colored suit or dress shirt with tailored pants and dress shoes. While it will be warm, please remember that we will be in a Catholic chapel for mass, so we ask that you dress respectfully for the sacred setting. Light fabrics and breathable styles are encouraged, but we want everyone to look their best and make this a truly special, formal event. Please refrain from wearing white, as it's reserved for the bride.
Can I bring a plus one?
Your presence means the world to us! If your invitation includes a plus one, we’re delighted to welcome them. Kindly note that our wedding is RSVP-only, and we’re only able to accommodate those listed on the invitation.
Am I allowed to bring my children?
We love your little ones! However, please note that the resort is an adults-only venue, so we hope you can enjoy this special celebration as a getaway just for grown-ups.
Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception be indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony will take place in a beautiful Catholic chapel, but it is open to the outdoors, offering a lovely combination of indoor and outdoor settings. Both the cocktail hour and reception will be outdoors, allowing us to enjoy the stunning natural surroundings while celebrating together.
What is the weather like in Mexico at that time of year?
The weather in Playa del Carmen during August is typically warm and tropical, with temperatures ranging from 75°F in the early mornings to 90°F in the afternoons. You can expect plenty of sunshine, but August is also part of the rainy season, so afternoon showers or thunderstorms are possible.
Can I bring gifts for the couple?
We’re so grateful for your love and support! If you'd like to give a gift, we encourage contributions to our online registry. If you are attending the wedding, please do not feel obligated to give a gift, as your presence is all we could ask for.
