Nile and Alina met while interning for P&G when Nile asked if he could carpool with Alina and her roommate everyday to work. Over the summer, their friendship grew and they started to hang out all of the time together. After the internship ended, they both kept in touch over text and were very excited when they found out they both got returning offers. Once they were full time and back in Cincinnati together for a couple months, their friendship turned into a relationship.

After several years of dating, they moved in together and added a dog to the family (Kaya) who they love dearly (despite Nile's denial). Nile planned a surprise proposal in Devou Park with Kaya where Alina of course said yes..... and the three of them lived happily ever after.
