Alisha’s Version of the Story:

It all started during my clinical science internship in Palm Springs, when our friend and my then classmate Byron (shout out!) decided to invite a random guy from a different laboratory department to come to MY birthday happy hour. I was immediately drawn to Paul's green and hazel eyes and was excited to be meeting someone new! Turns out, Paul joined the internship I was in and became a classmate, and then a friend. A few months later, at our lab director's retirement party (so romantic), Paul decided to ask me out on a date. A few very blissful months flew by and knowing I would be moving back to my hometown and the distance would be too much, I decided to end things with Paul. The end.

Just kidding! Paul was persistent and CHASED me until I realized that I too, loved him, and this was the new beginning of our future.

Paul's Version of the Story:

Mine and Alisha's love story begins in Palm Springs, CA, when we met in our clinical lab science internship. Unfortunately when we first met, Alisha was a taken woman. I was naturally drawn to how smart she was in lectures and study groups, and obviously how beautiful she was. Naturally, as the year went on, Alisha and I got closer and closer as friends, constantly sneaking over to other sides of the lab to have conversations when we should be working. We bonded and had such a strong natural connection from the very beginning, it was inevitable what might happen. We just got each other. Midway through the school year Alisha became a single woman! I was ready to pounce and seize this once in a lifetime opportunity. Later on during the year as our friendship continued, Alisha and I found ourselves at the lab directors retirement party. We were having a great time and didn’t want the night to end so I asked Alisha to an after party date. This was where they ended up sharing their first kiss. The rest is history!

Our Version of the Story:

Over the past three years, we celebrated each other's triumphs, lent a listening ear during challenging times, and embarked on countless adventures together. Through laughter, tears, and heartfelt conversations, our bond grew deeper, and we knew we had found our person for life.
