Braxton and Alisha first met through mutual friends in their hometown of Elko, Nevada in 2016. What started off as a good friendship spent hanging out during Alisha's senior year of high school, ended up becoming so much more. Braxton finally mustered up the courage to ask Alisha out and make it official on May 4, 2017 at their favorite spot in Lamoille Canyon.

From that point forward, they've shared many adventures together ranging from spontaneous camping trips, concerts, and traveling to Oregon, Washington, Texas, and Tennessee. They both attended their first year of college in Twin Falls, Idaho while eventually making the move to Boise, Idaho to attend Boise State University in 2018. The two have enjoyed getting to know the city together from floating the Boise River, finding new camping spots, making new friendships, and making unforgettable memories.

The proposal happened at a Zach Bryan concert (Alisha's favorite musician) on August 17, 2023 in Nampa, Idaho. Braxton proposed to Alisha during her favorite song and was flooded with emotions. The past 7 years has brought us nothing but joy; full of laughs, memories, and growth as individuals, separately and together. Through it all, we have been each others rock, comfort, safe space, and home. A lifetime will bring plenty of obstacles but there is no one I'd rather walk through them with than you.
