In June of 2022, having recently decided to rejoin the dating scene I stumbled across the profile of a cute man posing in front of a Cessna airplane. We connected and began talking ( although by his account my reply times were less than ideal). Out of the blue one day he gave me his phone number and from there things only grew. What started as one phone call became another...and then another... it was not long before we were texting from days start to days end...

James and I met for the first time in person on August 6th 2022 at Peppers Mexican Grill in Milan, We had dinner together and shared information about ourselves (We held hands :p). It was very obvious from both sides that something special was indeed starting to blossom.

We officially began dating on August 29, 2022.

James proposed December 18,2023. I was in between semesters and had been having a hard week due to the nursing programs increased pressure and we talked about going out to eat at our favorite restaurant. Little did I know he had been talking to my sister about how he was going to propose. When he got home from work he grabbed my hand guided me to our bedroom and asked me to turn around when I turned back he was down on one knee saying the sweetest things I could have ever imagined. It was so perfectly genuine and sweet. I can’t wait to spend forever with my best friend.
