We started dating in 2009 after meeting at our hometown's annual "Butter and Eggs Day" parade. This is the oldest photo we could find of us together, pictured after a day at the races in front of the track at Monmouth Park, NJ.

We made so many memories traveling throughout California for weekend trips, here we were playing pool in Orange County with friends.

In September of 2012 we moved to our first apartment together in Koreatown, Los Angeles. We lived here for about three years before setting off for the East coast.

While living in New Jersey, we would often hike Harriman State Park on the Appalachian Trail. It was here that we found our best foraged mushroom, a choice Chicken of the Woods!

We would often escape the city to find cool small towns or picturesque landscapes to photograph with our Polaroid Land Cameras. After a day of shooting we ended up at a lovely winery for a tasting and dinner in West Jersey.

In 2020, we moved from New Jersey to Charlotte, North Carolina where we quickly fell in love with the lakes and mountains of the area.

A year and a half after moving, we were blessed with the opportunity to buy a home together in Charlotte - just in time for Christmas that year.

Shortly after getting settled in our new home, we expanded our family to include our rescue dog, Nellie.

While camping in the Outer Banks of North Carolina, Christopher asked Alison, "So, will you?", and here we are.
