Our Story

Eric and Alison had known each other for ten years or so from the golf course where Alison worked and Eric played in Men's League. For a few years, a group of leaguers and their wives had a glowball golf outing, and the first year some conniving friends put Eric and Alison together since they were the only two singles. Well, nothing came of it that year.

Flash forward to 2021, after a couple other glowball outings in between, and Alison made up her mind that she might like to get to know Eric better. She texted him the week of glowball and let him know that they were going to be cart-ners again after having taken a year or two off, and the rest is history.

First picture together at Ray's glowball golf tournament, which was one week after a Williston glowball outing where we decided we should start dating....after a perfect setup assist from Alison to give Eric a push in the right direction to ask her out.

November 12, 2021

Eric's first trip to Vegas. Fun fact: Alison bought tickets to the Backstreet Boys months in advance and bought an extra ticket, in the hopes that she would have someone (*Eric*) to come with. While the Backstreet Boys cancelled, dating Eric manifested itself and it all worked out!

ND Country Fest. There was a good chance this relationship would work out based on all the events Eric was agreeing to attend with Alison and having fun at!

It was around the Arnson wedding in October that Alison started thinking Eric should get a move on so we could be next, since she was the only high school classmate (out of 4) left to get married!
