Where?
Both the wedding and reception are located at "The Country Club" 6161 E 850 North Rd, Stanford, IL, 61774
What Time Does Everything Start?
We will have a quick and relatively small ceremony starting at 5pm. The reception will start after photos around 6pm, followed by a cocktail hour. We will have snacks and drinks provided, followed by dinner. Kids, and people who don't wish to party should leave around 8 or 9pm, because we plan to kick it up a notch!
How Do I RSVP?
There will be an RSVP card with a QR code included in your invitation. Scan the QR code with the camera on your phone, and it will take you to the RSVP page on our website. Once you enter your name, read each question thoroughly. You must RSVP for each person in your party separately, but they should all come up one after the other. Please RSVP, even if you cannot make it, as its easier on us to get a headcount!
When Should I RSVP By?
We please ask that everyone RSVP asap and before June 1st 2026
What Should I Wear?
The wedding attire is Dressy-Casual, but we please ask that guests refrain from wearing black. Please make sure everyone in your party is aware. Failure to do so will result in a very angry bride! (You may wear white though!)
Is It Indoors or Outdoors?
Both! The event is taking place at a barn, which will not quite be big enough to house the amount of guests attending. The food, beverages, photo booth and dancing will all be located inside the barn. The ceremony, seating and other activities will be located outside, rain or shine. We will have a party tent for the tables and in case of bad weather!
Can I Bring A Plus One?
Most plus ones are already included in your invitation. If you don't see your plus one in your group, please ask Alison or Mitch ASAP and BEFORE you turn in your RSVP!
Parking
Depending on the amount of people that show up, we may have limited parking. We suggest that people carpool as much as possible, but there will also be parking available on the side of the road.
Transportation
If you need a ride to the ceremony, or plan on drinking, we will do our best to accommodate you. First, ask someone else you know, who may be going to the wedding. If you absolutely cannot find anyone to ride with or drive you, please get a hold of Alison or Mitch and we will figure it out. We suggest you try to figure this out before the day of the wedding. If you are able to offer someone a ride, please let us know and we'll set it up. We will absolutely not tolerate drinking and driving, so be mindful of that before you arrive!
Traveling
We are very aware that many people are traveling from out of state. A lot of people will be driving out with us from NY the weekend before the wedding, so if you'd like to tag along, just let one of us know and we'll give you the details. Keep in mind that the drive is almost 12 hours long, and we will not be stopping anywhere overnight. If you wish to fly instead, we suggest booking the tickets as soon as possible. If you'd like to fly with other people who are attending the wedding, let us know and we will help you!
Where Can I Stay?
We are planning on getting an Air Bnb for the wedding party, so if you are in the party, please message one of us for details. As for other guests, there are many hotels in the Bloomington/Normal area. We recommend Hawthorn Extended Stay by Wyndham or Days Inn Suites by Wyndham, as they are the closest to the venue, but there are many others nearby to choose from. There are also a few other Air Bnb's to choose from in the area, but we'd recommend booking one as soon as possible.
Allergies?
If you have any food allergies or food restrictions, please make it known ASAP!
(NY People) What If I Can't Make It To The Event?
Don't worry, we want to celebrate with you as much as you want to celebrate with us. We will be having a second reception in NY sometime after the wedding. The date and information will be given out at a later time.
Can I Take and Post Photos?
While we'd prefer to not be photographed or videoed due to the possibility of bad angles or ruining our photographers photos, if you are taking a quick photo for your own personal memory, you may. Please do not post any photos from the ceremony, as we'd like to do our own post when we get our professional pictures back. All guests will have an opportunity to take pictures with the bride and groom before dinner.
Where Can I Find Updates?
If there are any updates or changes to anything, a message will be sent to all guests. They will also be posted here on the website, so check in every once in a while to make sure everything is still going to plan. We suggest checking it the night before the wedding, just in case there was any last minute changes and to refresh your memory.
Have More Questions?
If you have any more questions, please message Alison or Mitch and we'll do our best to get back to you and answer any question you may have.
