For our friends and family in the Seattle area, Spokane is about a 4.5 hour drive on I-90, which is a great alternative to flying.
Please note, I-90 over the Vantage Bridge is reduced to one lane in each direction over the summer. Please allow for extra travel time (may be several hours on a Friday evening) or research alternative routes. The Old Vantage Highway runs parallel to I-90 and is a great alternative.
