Our Wedding

It feels like Alison and Mike have always been together &amp; that is what makes their bond so strong. Mike and Alison met at their high school through mutual friends. The two of them became close friends sharing similar interests in music, Magic the Gathering, and gaming. Soon after Alison's high school graduation, the two began dating and everything felt natural. The two of them have been together for almost ten years and share a love like no other. On April 24th 2016, Mike proposed to Alison at Pax East in Boston, MA (We know, it was a while ago!) Now the two are preparing to take the next step in life. Alison and Mike have shared many incredible moments throughout the years and can't wait to finally celebrate their love with you.

Our Story

Shannon "Noodle"  is Alison's best friend and cosplay cohort. The two met in a ceramics class in college, bonded over Attack on Titan, and have been friends ever since. Shannon was present at Alison & Mike's engagement in Boston! The two of them love going to conventions together, sharing cosplay knowledge, and goofing off like best friends should.

Sean and Mike have been friends since the dawn of time. The two have shared many moments growing up together. The two have remained friends for so long. Alison was first introduced to Mike through Sean in High school. Mike had the honor to be a part of Sean's wedding day as a groomsman. It is only fitting that Sean shares Alison & Mike's special day as Best Man.

Brooke "Book" is one of Alison's past Co-workers from Gamestop. Brooke has been an extremely supportive and fantastic friend even after the two stopped working together.  Brooke is an extremely creative soul with an ever kinder personality.

Greg "Gary" has also been one of Mike's close friends since the dawn of time.  Sean, Mike and Greg  have been an inseparable trio of friends.  Armed with an arsenal of sarcasm, Greg has always been a dear friend to Mike and Alison.

George "Yorge" is one of Alison's closest male friends.  George and Alison met through Alex and found an immediate and hilarious bond over gaming and music. George and Alison frequently think the same thoughts, prompting the two to believe they are "connected by the butt."

Antonio "Quinn" met the bride and groom through an anime convention in 2016. The group bonded over video games and soon became friends. During covid, Quinn became a close friend of the couple and has proven to be an extremely loyal and supportive friend.

Alex "Pocket" is a Florida Native whom Alison met online through playing Overwatch.  The two have maintained a friendship through playing games and chatting through discord. The two can spend countless hours watching anime, playing games, and drinking wine.

Justin "Grandpa" is a mutual friend of the couple from high school. Justin and Mike lived together for a short while and have a bond that simply can not be replicated. The two have been a part of many highs and lows that the other has shared and have basically become brothers.

Ashley and Alison have developed a fabulous friendship when she was introduced by her now husband, Sean. The two became good friends sharing lots of good memories of parties, vacations, and more. Ashley and Alison also share a huge love for Disney parks and all things Disney. Alison and Mike are elated to have both Ashley and her husband be a part of our special day.

Michael "Fox" or "Gun" was introduced to Mike by a mutual friend.  Through this friend he met his now girlfriend Shannon, who is Alison's Maid of honor. Michael became a very good friend of the couple and brings with him a thousand smiles, thunderous laughter, and a mountain of G-Fuel.

John has been a very prominent figure in the couple's life. John and Mike met while mike was working at Friendly's as a server. At their time of meeting, a drink was spilled which prompted a conversation and lead to a friendship. John has been an extremely supportive friend of the couple and we are honored to have him officiate this special day.

Within the Deptford mall, is Round One Arcade! Play tons of arcade games including Japanese rhythm games, Dance Dance Revolution, crane games, bowling, and of course food and drink. Alison and Mike love going to the arcade and playing dance dance revolution, and it has become and almost weekly tradition.

Alison and Mike LOVE Japanese food. Among that love is a ramen shop called Rayaki. The restaurant is anime themed and has some fantastically flavorful ramen! If you take a trip, our bride and groom have some recommendations: Alison recommends the black garlic ramen and pork bao buns &amp; Mike recommends the salmon ramen and coffee milk tea.
